Year may be dustiest ever

KUWAIT (KUNA): The year 2008 is expected to be Kuwait’s most dusty year, astronomical researcher Adel Al-Saadoun said. He told KUNA the year 1979 was the worst year in Kuwait, with 235 dusty days, although the quantity of rain was above average, adding that the amount of rain that fell this year was much less than what had fallen in 1979, making it possible that 2008 would break the record. Al-Saadoun said that a tide of low pressure was spreading across the Arabian Peninsula, resulting in 50-kilometer winds carrying dust, pointing out that the dusty weather in Kuwait had reduced the vertical vision to less than 500 meters.

He said the northwest winds are a result of a monsoon that hits the Indian Peninsula from early June to late July every year. If the speed of wind exceeds 45 kilometers per hour, it carries dust from the Iraqi, Saudi and Kuwaiti deserts, he said. Dust increases during the day and decreases in the evening when the wind calms down, he added. The astronomer said that dust is expected to decrease by the end of this week, before increasing once again, adding that dust will continue until the end of the monsoons in late July. He called fishermen to be careful and advised people not to swim in the sea as the tide could be high.

Imagine having 235 days and even more dusty days !?!?!!?.. having breathing problems, allergies, eye issues....!you cant travel because you don't know if your flight will fly on time or no, if the airport is open or no... you don't even have the option of traveling by car because you cant drive in this weather and of course the sea is out of the question, if you wanna go for coffee you need an indoor place "everywhere is packed", coffee shops added more tables inside so people could sit making the place very crowded and also tables are so close to each other that you could actually share conversations with them!...So Kuwait.. i really hope you get Dust-Free soon. Cheers ...!

Tarsheed again in 2008?!?!?!

On My way home today i couldn't stop looking at the tarsheed sign and just wondering, are we gonna have a problem this year like we did last year ?? will some areas stay without electricity for 4-5 hours a day ?and lets not forget in the middle of the day where A/C is needed the most !!! i mean the arrow is almost near the red color which means "NO GOOD", come on its only the beginning of the summer and the arrow is almost near the danger zone !!!! ...

i really hope that they will come up with a solution and wont have to re-live the summer of 2007 again.. oh and yeah please don't place the ads of tarsheed with 6 projector lights facing it ... :D ... we all thought that the aim of the campaign is to reduce electricity... :)

Well Hello to everyone,

i was surfing the net today and i just had this feeling to check my blog and start blogging... i wasn't a heavy blogger since i just posted a couple of posts hehe, but I'm a reader i luv reading the blogs of maze,purg, chikapapi fonzy and noush0 and I'd check the blogs that they recommend. i hope you'll excuse me cause i consider my self a "fresh blogger" I'm still learning how to deal with the site and everything that is linked to it.Hopefully ill be posting soon, till than take care :)

helloz, well i know that u all missed me :P

i was so busy with the house because we moved houses and like things had to be packed than u need to unpack the funny part about it is that i always thought that packing is worse than unpacking appearantly unpacking is the worst part it takes really time and like since u were packing u mainly thourgh ur things in the box so u actually forget the natural place of the thigns and thats really annoying and tiring when it comes to arrangign them again...weve been in the new hosue for the past 3 weeeks now and we r still UNPACKING!!!!! ... im actually dreaming of it hehehe, so till i join again hopefuly ill be done with the all UNPACKING ISSUE ...

Well as u guys noticed I haven’t updated my blog for ages!!!!... the reason is …. Coming to think about it now I don’t know y exactly hehehe, guess I was just busy, and usually not at home and If I’m at home it’s usually at night so mabeekon 2ili kkhili2 to actually do anything. 2. a bit tensed
3. smoking a lot of ciggies

hehehehe, oh and the funniest part is, the person who’s known that he like “to be on time” was ok with the 45 min delay .. AKH AKH! ..anyways both of u are still adorable, mwah love u both !!!

Thursday Night ….

Memorable night... All what I can say is that I really enjoyed our Thursday night, I saw a friend that I haven’t seen since I left Lebanon, I saw another friend that I’ve met 3 years ago and lost contact with. Got introduced to really nice and sweet people. Oh and I finally met the “famous” Fady on Thursday haram he was in pain but I am sure that he really enjoyed it... At least that’s what we saw .. :)
